Bringing the Kids
We love having kids around and they love the farm. They are welcome to roam with your supervision. The barn and equipment areas are off-limits. Please realize we are a working farm and be alert for tractors and trucks coming and going. We also urge you to teach your children caution around animals. When children congregate and animals are involved the running around and chasing is confusing for animals who like to participate. Our animals are friendly but their space should always be respected. Our $50 per child per night charge helps to cover the extra towels, bedding, breakfast, and general wear and tear the kids are sure to impose.
Bringing your Pet
We don't encourage guests to bring pets to the farm as we already have so many animals here. Our dogs are farm dogs and not necessarily socialized in the same way as city dogs, as they have jobs to do. However, we sometimes allow it under the right circumstances. That said, your pet absolutely must:
Be very well behaved and good with other dogs and animals
Be kept off the furniture in the rooms
Be kept on a leash at all times while outside
Not left in the rooms alone
Sleep on bedding that you provide
Please realize that we can not be responsible for interactions between your pets and ours but we will do our best to prevent problems.
We charge a one time extra cleaning fee of $40. Please email us for approval if you and your pet can meet all of these requirements and you would like to bring them along.
